Whatever the application: count totalizing; elapsed time counting; rate metering; position readout; or PLC message display, the C342 family includes a compact cost effective product that fits the bill.

Basic versions feature an 8 digit LCD display and include all of the aforementioned functions. Chose from self powered models containing a 7 year lithium battery, or from models accepting an external 12 - 24 VDC power supply. Externally powered units utilize a nonvolatile RAM to ensure count value integrity.

Maximum input flexibility features field programmable interface to PNP or NPN signals, while separate models accept high voltage signals (12-250 VAC/DC) as the primary input.

LED models offer a 6 digit red display, and can provide all the same functions as the LCD models plus a model suited for bidirectional position/length indication. However, their special features go beyond just display capability. Prescale values, preset limits and decimal points can be input at the factory. The transistor output lets these models perform control functions or interact with a PLC.

For applications requiring maximum operator interaction, a 6 character alpha-numeric message can be programmed to appear when the preset value is reached.

All units are packaged in a compact 1/32 DIN size case with depths as short as 40mm. The front panel is rated IEC IP65 for use in washdown environments.
